These caterpillars live communally in a silk web on their foodplant. They feed on the foliage of:

  • Gum Trees ( MYRTACEAE ).

    The adult moths of this species are pale brown with a dark brown mark midway along the inner margin of each forewing. The moths have a wingspan about 2.5 cms.

    The species is found in :

  • Queensland. and
  • New South Wales, and Tasmania.
