This Caterpillar is reported to feed on the leaves of:

  • Broad Leaf Star Hair ( Astrotricha latifolia ), and
  • Lance Leaf Star Hair ( Astrotricha floccosa ),

    both of ARALIACEAE.

    It hides in a shelter of a white flaky material that it makes under a leaf.

    The adult moth has a wingspan of about 1 cm. It has been found over much of Australia.
