The caterpillar of this species feeds on :

  • Boobialla ( Myoporum parvifolium, MYOPORACEAE ).

    On top, the adult butterflies on top are purple with orange veins.

    Underneath, they are pale grey with an arc of black spots around the margins.

    The eggs are white, and are laid singly on the undersides of leaves of a foodplant.

    This species is found only in restricted areas near Wimmera in western Victoria.
