These caterpillars feed on the leaves of :

  • Acronychia ( RUTACEAE ),

    The adult moths have dark brown forewings, each with several dark spots.

    The moths are noted for congregating in enormous numbers in some areas in southern Queensland in autumn (March, April), closely covering plant leaves like tiles on a roof.
