The grey Caterpillars of this species hide in the debris at the foot of the foodplant by day. At night they feed on

  • Willgar ( Breynia oblongifolia, EUPHORBIACEAE ).

    The adult moths have a broad curving pattern of light and dark brown patches on the forewings, and suffused light and dark areas on the hindwings. The moths have a wingspan of about 6 cms.

    They are found over New Guinea and the northern half of Australia.
